Photograph the receipt. The rest sorts itself.
Expenses is the claims tool built into Eteego. Staff photograph a receipt and submit from their phone, a manager approves or queries it in a tap, and approved claims flow straight into the next pay run without anyone retyping a figure.
No shoebox of receipts. No spreadsheet at month end.
Most small teams still run expenses through a folder of paper receipts or a shared spreadsheet nobody quite trusts. Expenses lives inside the same hub as payroll, so an approved claim goes straight where it needs to.
Photograph and submit
A photo of the receipt, an amount and a category, submitted from the phone at the till. No paper to keep or file away.
Approve or query in a tap
A manager sees the receipt and amount together and either approves it or queries it with a note, all in the same thread.
Straight into the pay run
Approved claims flow into the next payroll cycle automatically, still reviewed and confirmed by you before anyone's paid.
What Expenses won't do
It's a straightforward claims and receipt tool, not a full corporate spend management platform.
- It doesn't issue company cards or manage a card programme, it's built around receipt-based claims.
- Multi-currency and international travel claims work, but complex FX rate handling still benefits from a human check.
- It's not a mileage-tracking GPS tool, mileage claims are entered manually with the distance and rate.
Common questions about Expenses
Do staff need to keep paper receipts?
No. They photograph the receipt at the till and attach it to the claim from their phone, so nothing needs to be kept, filed or handed over later.
How do approved claims get paid?
Once approved, a claim flows straight into the next pay run, reviewed and confirmed by you before anyone's paid, so nothing is retyped by hand.
Can a manager query a claim instead of approving it outright?
Yes. A manager can query an unclear claim, the employee responds with more detail or a corrected amount, and it goes back for approval, all within the same record.
